What HelpMyNest Is
HelpMyNest is a technology marketplace that helps residents across the Bay Area & Central Valley discover and connect with local independent service providers. We are not a service provider, employer, or guarantor. Providers are independent businesses. You and your provider arrange all pricing, scheduling, and payment directly.
What We Do Not Verify
HelpMyNest does not independently verify any provider's:
- Identity
- Business license or contractor license
- Liability insurance
- Background
- Service quality or past work
Profile information — including license numbers, insurance policy numbers, years of experience, and references — is provided by the provider and is self-reported. No provider on HelpMyNest currently carries any form of “HelpMyNest Verified” status.
What We Expect from Providers
All providers on the platform agree to our Provider Agreement and Community Guidelines, which require accurate self-reported information, professional conduct, and compliance with applicable California law.
Your Responsibility as a Customer
We encourage every customer to independently verify provider credentials, ask for proof of license and insurance, and check references before hiring or allowing access to your property. Do not pay in full upfront.
How to Report a Concern
If you encounter a provider who you believe has misrepresented their credentials, behaved unprofessionally, or violated our guidelines, please email contact@helpmynest.com. We review all credible reports and may remove profiles that violate our standards.
