California Privacy Notice.

1. Purpose of This Notice

This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to California residents, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding 12 months, HelpMyNest has collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140:

• Identifiers (name, email, phone, account ID) — Yes, collected directly from you
• Commercial information (request history) — Yes, collected directly from you. Includes submitted quote requests, accepted and declined Provider responses, and service category searches.
• Internet/network activity — Yes, collected automatically via the Platform
• Cookie and tracking data — Yes, collected automatically from all visitors via the Platform, including browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• Geolocation data — Limited (city-level, self-entered), collected directly from you
• Professional/employment information — Yes, for Providers (license/insurance info, self-reported), collected directly from Providers
• Inferences drawn from personal information — Yes. HelpMyNest may derive inferences about service preferences from your search and request history to improve routing relevance.
• Sensitive personal information — No
• Biometric information — No
• Financial account information — No (HelpMyNest does not collect payment)

3. Business or Commercial Purpose for Collection

We collect this information to operate the request-routing function of the Platform, communicate with you about requests, maintain Provider profiles, and ensure Platform security, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Sale and Sharing Disclosure

In the preceding 12 months, HelpMyNest has not sold personal information and has not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under CPRA.

5. Your Rights as a California Resident

• Right to Know: Request what personal information we've collected, used, and disclosed about you in the past 12 months
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: Not currently applicable — we don't sell or share, but you may still submit a preference
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI: Not currently applicable — we don't collect sensitive personal information
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny service or change pricing because you exercised a privacy right

Identity verification: To protect your privacy, HelpMyNest will verify your identity before fulfilling privacy requests. Verification typically involves confirming the email address and phone number associated with your account. We will not require you to create an account to exercise your rights if you do not already have one.

We will respond within 45 days. If additional time is needed due to the complexity or volume of requests, we may extend this period by an additional 45 days and will notify you within the initial 45-day period, explaining the reason for the extension.

Right to Appeal: If HelpMyNest denies your privacy request, you may appeal that decision within 30 days by emailing contact@helpmynest.com with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” HelpMyNest will review your appeal and respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.

6. Shine the Light Disclosure

California's “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. HelpMyNest does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
