This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to California residents, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).
In the preceding 12 months, HelpMyNest has collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140:
We collect this information to operate the request-routing function of the Platform, communicate with you about requests, maintain Provider profiles, and ensure Platform security, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
In the preceding 12 months, HelpMyNest has not sold personal information and has not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under CPRA.

Identity verification: To protect your privacy, HelpMyNest will verify your identity before fulfilling privacy requests. Verification typically involves confirming the email address and phone number associated with your account. We will not require you to create an account to exercise your rights if you do not already have one.
We will respond within 45 days. If additional time is needed due to the complexity or volume of requests, we may extend this period by an additional 45 days and will notify you within the initial 45-day period, explaining the reason for the extension.
Right to Appeal: If HelpMyNest denies your privacy request, you may appeal that decision within 30 days by emailing privacy@helpmynest.com with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” HelpMyNest will review your appeal and respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.
California's “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. HelpMyNest does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
