Operator: QuadHoldings LLC, doing business as HelpMyNest (“HelpMyNest,” “we,” “us”)
HelpMyNest is a neutral technology platform operated by QuadHoldings LLC that helps Customers discover and communicate with independent service providers. HelpMyNest does not perform services, employ providers, supervise work, inspect provider qualifications, guarantee outcomes, or become a party to agreements between Customers and Providers.
HelpMyNest does not: perform any home services itself; supervise, direct, or control how a Provider performs work; employ Providers or treat them as agents; guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any work; collect payment for services performed by a Provider; or act as a party to any agreement between a Customer and a Provider.
For Customers: You may search Providers by category and city, view a Provider's profile, and either contact a Provider directly (phone or email) or submit a quote request through the Platform. Submitting a request sends it to the relevant Provider(s); HelpMyNest's role ends at that point. Any scheduling, pricing, payment, and performance of work is agreed directly between you and the Provider.
For Providers: You may create a profile, receive quote requests from Customers, and choose to Accept or Decline each request. Accepting a request is your decision alone; HelpMyNest does not assign, require, or guarantee work.
Unless a Provider profile is specifically marked with a defined HelpMyNest verification badge, HelpMyNest does not screen, vet, background check, verify, endorse, or recommend any Provider. All license, insurance, and experience information displayed on profiles is provided by the Provider and has not been independently confirmed by HelpMyNest.
Customers assume responsibility for independently verifying Provider credentials, pricing, availability, insurance, licenses, qualifications, and suitability before hiring or allowing access to any property.
Featured or highlighted placement of a Provider on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, verification, recommendation, or approval by HelpMyNest.
Providers are independent businesses. Nothing on the Platform creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between HelpMyNest and any Provider, or between HelpMyNest and any Customer.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA LAW, HELPMYNEST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. HELPMYNEST DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF PROVIDER-SUBMITTED INFORMATION OR THE QUALITY OF ANY WORK PERFORMED BY A PROVIDER.
The disclaimers in this section do not apply to HelpMyNest's own gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, liability that cannot be disclaimed under California law, or non-waivable consumer protections.
Because HelpMyNest does not perform services, supervise Providers, or process payment for work performed, HelpMyNest's own liability exposure is limited to the operation of the Platform itself. To the maximum extent permitted by California law:
Login is optional for Customers to search and browse. An account is required to submit certain requests, save preferences, or claim/manage a Provider profile. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential.
By submitting a request or creating a Provider profile, you may receive transactional SMS and email notifications related to your requests. SMS communications are governed separately by our SMS Terms.
You agree not to misrepresent your identity, licensing, or insurance status; use the Platform to solicit business outside its intended purpose (e.g., spam); or attempt to circumvent HelpMyNest's request-routing system in a way that violates these Terms. Provider conduct standards are further detailed in our Community Guidelines.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be submitted to binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, administered in Contra Costa County, CA, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. You and HelpMyNest each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action against the other.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
HelpMyNest will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of material changes to these Terms. Changes to limitation of liability or dispute resolution provisions require at least 60 days' advance notice and affirmative acceptance before applying to existing users.
